What is Global Volunteer?

Global Volunteer (GV) is a 6-8 week cross-cultural volunteering experience to beyond 80 destinations around the globe. Partnering with more than 10,000 NGOs, youths who want to gain personal development and leave an impact on the world work towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Our Mission

AIESEC provides Global Volunteer projects around the world because we choose to shape what we do around what the world needs. We are committed to creating a youth movement to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030.

This falls under our Youth 4 Global Goals initiative which aims at activating youth to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Youths’ leadership abilities of empowering others, self awareness, being solution-oriented and a world citizen are also developed over the course of experience.
